In providing psychotherapy, I offer a setting in which you can explore parts of your life that aren't working well or that may be causing pain. The setting is nonjudgmental, reliable and supportive. It is different from other relationships because 100% of the attention is on you. This focus can free you to speak and explore in ways that may not be otherwise available. As you work through issues in this therapeutic setting, you may come to realize that what you thought might be unalterable is indeed changeable.
We work together to:
- • Help you explore and move beyond limiting beliefs and behavior patterns
- • Remove blocks to attaining a more fulfilling life
- • Begin or continue the process of healing from trauma and post-traumatic stress, including issues of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse or neglect relating to childhood experiences
- • Work to remove unwanted compulsive behaviors
- • Help with relationships
- • Help with depression and anxiety
- • Help with gay,lesbian, and bisexual issues
