Counseling Can Help
• Are you struggling with anxiety or stress? Sometimes it may feel like your stomach is in knots, you can’t breathe, you’re having trouble sleeping, or you just can’t think clearly anymore.
• Have you suffered a trauma in your past that still haunts you today, leaving you feeling helpless and out of control? You may have a form of anxiety called Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD can stir up a variety of symptoms, including panic attacks, obsessive behaviors or thinking, anxiety, phobias, sleep disturbances, tremors, hyper-vigilance, and dissociation.
• Are you and your partner stuck in what seems like an endless pattern of escalating fights, constantly blaming each other for what’s gone wrong in your relationship? Do you sometimes wonder why you even became a couple in the first place?

• As a gay man, I have a special empathy for my clients, individuals and couples, who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or queer and whose challenges may have sprung from the difficulties of dealing with that identity at a vulnerable age.
You are not alone. These difficult emotional issues can be resolved: they do not have to run your life. Every day, I help men and women like you move out of their old stuck patterns into freedom, wholeness, and a more satisfying life.
As your therapist, I act as guide and advocate for the person you are capable of being, using the approach that works best for you.
I bring a background in Hakomi therapy, couples work, including emotionally focused therapy (EFT), trauma work, EMDR, and the new generation of mindfulness-based behavioral approaches. Together, we build on your strengths and resources to discover what resonates deeply, and explore new, more satisfying and joyful ways of being in the world.
